Certification Schemes

We specialise in using timbers selected for their qualities of durability, strength and performance; giving our products their timeless and classic appeal. Building in timber carries important environmental responsibilities, and when properly managed is far preferable to the use of aluminium or petrochemical-based plastics.

FSC 

FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world's forests. The FSC label provides a credible link between responsible production and consumption of forest products, enabling consumers and businesses to make purchasing decisions that benefit people and the environment.

David Salisbury is committed to supporting the responsible management of the world's timber resources by promoting the trade in timber and timber products from well-managed forests.

We are able to supply a range of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified products under our Chain of Custody certificate TT-COC-002182.

PEFC

An international non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management. PEFC is the world's largest forest certification system and seeks to transform the way forests are managed globally - and locally - to ensure that all of us can enjoy the environmental, social and economic benefits that forests offer.

We are able to supply a range of PEFC (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) certified products under our Chain of Custody certificate BMT-PEFC-0610
